Buildings Building a new commercial broadcasting transmission facility can be frustrating. Lack of time or lack of local expertise complicate construction. Some parts arrive on time - Others arrive late or are incorrect - Some required parts may have been overlooked and not ordered. Then there are the repeated trips to the local hardware store for specialized fasteners, only to often find that they are not in stock. In short – It can take considerably more time than planned, and time is money. Such a project almost always costs more than planned. Balsys has a solution. “Plug & Play” Transmitter Buildings. Each precast concrete building is custom sized and configured for the specific CP and unique requirements. Electrical and other specifications adhere to local codes. All equipment is installed at the Balsys Orlando facility, pre-wired, tested, and high powered. When delivered to the final site, all that is required is a pad to place the building, electrical and transmission line hookups, phone line and/or STL hookup, proof, and the job is done. This process maximizes efficiency, and minimizes on-site time and the associated travel and per diem expenses for contract engineers. All costs and expenses considered, Plug & Play configurations typically represent a 15% or greater overall cost savings over site built facilities.
